An army of ministers

The new selected prime minister by the military has over 32 ministers in his cabinet. A minister for every single task whether it requires a great deal of expertise and or it is downright menial. Ministers get all the privileges which mean they have mansions, ten chauffeur driven cars, free petrol, free electricity, free water, and free gas. It does not matter that the rest of the people in the country are suffering due inflation and paying inflated electricity and telephone bills. The salaries of these ministers will be millions of rupees. 75% of these ministers are retired silly high ranking military officers, during their working years they were completely incompetent and as cabinet ministers they will be much worse, they would be positively rabid – because throughout their working lives they learnt only one thing how to bark orders. The rest of the ministers comprised of former bureaucrats and failed politicians who could never dream of being a cabinet minister. had there been a true democracy. Retired military personnel as ministers only confirms the fact that the military is running the country and everyone knows that soldiers no matter what rank they may have are absolute idiots.
It is surprising why only 32 people were made ministers. There could have been many more, one minister responsible for polishing shoes, one for cleaning socks, one for putting them on the prime minister, for ironing the president and prime minister’s suit .Another for washing all his clothes. They also should be a minister of chauffeurs, he would supervise all the chauffeurs the list can go on forever...
When there are new ministers, it mean that new offices have to be made for them, which is an additional drain on the finances of the country, there will be offices for the people working under the minister which includes a whole bunch of underlings who are entirely useless people.
Billions of rupees are going to be spent on these worthless ministers and advisors, some who have been hired from abroad. Our bureaucrats enjoy almost the same benefits as the ministers and advisors do the only difference is that they are paid less, but do have more influence.
All the loans the Pakistan receives from abroad in order to improve things in the country is spent on making a super-large but fake government. With no administrative powers whatsoever.
Three or four large aircraft from our state-owned airline. Aircraft which could be better used for commercial purposes These ministers, advisors, bureaucrats and their family members fill these airliners and travel all over the world they, stay in the most expensive hotels – they do lots of costly shopping, it does not bother them a bit, because the money they are spending is not theirs.
As all dictators before him, the existing military dictator has no intentions and will never have any to benefit the people of Pakistan. His priority lies in keeping military happy and the foreign powers, which have propped him up to run the country. They develop the trait of becoming blind and deaf to any kind of criticism, their single most important objective is to rule rather misrule at any cost. They have the contingency plan to escape from the country if there is a coup or if there is a mass movement against military rule and all the corrupt people regardless whether they belong to the military, they are feudal lords and tribal chiefs.
When taxpayers see their money being squandered so viciously - they have every reason to be furious. Organisations like the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank give loans to improve things in Pakistan – the money instead is used for the pelf and privilege few like senior military officers, bureaucrats, feudal lords and tribal chiefs very rich. The feudal lords and tribal chiefs do not pay taxes in fact they do not pay anything, they steal. The feudal lords retain Haris – a local name for farm slave-labour. Tribal chiefs consider it a privilege to keep the members of their tribes ignorant and schools are converted into stables, the members of the tribe are also no better than slaves, their only job is to carry guns and shoot at rival tribes and they do not care if any one else gets caught in the crossfire.

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life

Dr Salman Shah is insane

The price of petrol has been increased 7 times and the country's Finance Adviser says it will not affect the economy. I do not know about the economy but I am paying more and more for petrol and my salary has not increased, it is not enough one day petrol will eventually become as expensive as gold or more. Its people like Dr. Salman Shah who do not announce anything during the budget announcement, later start telling the people that everything is going to be more expensive later at the same time say it will not make any difference to the economy. Dr. Salman Shah says this because he does not have to pay for the petrol of his limousine - it is free for him Why should he not drive around in his limousine and pay for petrol from his own pocket instead on relying on the government. The day he starts doing that he will realise what he has done, he will scream. The price of petrol is high because it has 300 per cent taxes on it. If those taxes are removed the petrol would be m

Mysterious kidnappings

Young students in their twenties are being kidnapped from Karachi and other cities. Though reports about these are kept secret, but with the frequency they are taking place, there is bound to be a leak  and people eventually get to know about this. But the question is who responsible and why is it happening. There are no clear answers. But the people who get away by committing such crimes are obviously are very highly placed, they are virtually above the law. No one can arrest them, even though the evidence is overwhelmingly against them. This is a new way to terrorise the people, it simply boils down to this. If the police and other law enforcement organisations are unable to prevent crime, the people would be forced to take up arms against those who murder, kidnap and steal. Whatever the reasons for the kidnapping, is irrelevant, the people protecting the kidnappers will face the wrath of the people. No court, no judge is going to prosecute these criminals. There is a limit to su
