The cost of living

General Musharraf's junta has increased price of virtually everything. Milk, flour, petrol and gas have become terribly expensive. The cost of electricity, telecommunications and air fares are ridiculously high. This military dictatorship has become intolerable - the criminal increase in price of things should not go unpunished.
It is obvious the military does not care what anyone thinks. It imagines public opinion is of no consequence. But when public opinion turns into a mass uprising it will be impossible to control and manage. The military officers will shed the uniforms and hide their ranks and pretend they have no association with the military.
Military rule always has will always mean absolute corruption. Military dictators have absolute power and that means they are absolutely corrupt. They do not represent anyone except the members of their junta. The present democracy is a facade - Shaukat Aziz imported from abroad was finance mininster now he is prime minister. He has not been legally elected - he has been appointed by General 'president' Musharraf - Shaukat Aziz is subsidising the world tour of General Musharraf and of all the appointed (not elected) ministers.
The first priority of such regimes is how much they can travel the world. The problems of the country are the least of their concerns. Shaukat Aziz in order to purchase bullet proof cars is increasing prices of everyday commodities. The price of meat is excessive. A forgeign company was offering meat at at one hundreth of the local price, but it was not allowed to enter the market.
People spend 85 per cent of their income on food, utilities and rent - with the remaining 15 per cent they have to pay for education of their children. The hatred of the military is rising by the day. People are fed up of unrepresentative leadership. Tax money is lining the pockets of the military officers and civil servants and the fake democratic government.
Before the break up of the country and the formation of Bangladesh - shattered the image of the milstary - it showed it was an incompetent and unreliable force. Bangladesh was the result of General (Field Marshal) Ayub Khan who wanted to control everything and exploit everything. The people of former East Pakistan were fed up and with the help of the Indian armed forces the military rule was brought to a sudden end. The number of soldiers who were beheaded is uncounted a real coup de tat.
General Musharraf is falling in the footsteps of General Ayub Khan, he has started the final destruction of Pakistan, because of his unashamed corruption. He doces not care what anyone thinks. He is ruthless and treacherous person not only him but every member of his junta and the people who are running the fake democratic government.

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life ...

Boredom killer

The cellphone has become an integral part of Pakistani life, it is hard to imagine life without it anymore.  Every single person is using them, particularly people by those who have a great deal of free time and lots of people to talk to. Gossip gets around fairly fast. I was in a bus, there was this lady who had this phone stuck to her ear and she was asking virtually about everyone in her family and group of friends and telling them all kinds of stories. No sooner she was diconnected because she used up the credit, she added credit resumed her gossiping. All kinds of people, many who are doing fairly menial jobs are busy receiving and making calls. People love staying connected with anyone they know. There are others who have few friends and want to talk, I received one and that unknown person simply wanted to hear me talk about anything. He even went so far as to ask me to lie to him,  because there was really nothing to talk about. He simply wanted to hear a voice. Lonel...

Cell phone service blocking idiocy

Rehman Malik's idea blocking  cell phone services is going to ensure is madness.  In times of crisis all lines of communications shoul remain open. It is essential that everyone should be contact with everyone. If terrorists are using cell phones to remain in contact with one another, the police can trace calls, listen to what the terrorists are doing and planning and what they have done. This helps the police in catching them before they can.do any damage. In any case of crisis all lines of communication should remain open. People who need medical assistance can call them. If criminals are seen the police can be informed, so that they should be arrested. Even phones are as IEDs that number can traced if there are scanners around. Rehman Malik is nothing but a bloody absolutely corrupt piece of shit
