PIA fares out of control

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) another corruption riven and extremely loss making organisation has in the past two months increased its international fares by 240% of all its destinations. It does not matter to the military regimes toadies those who run PIA and others, travel everywhere free - so it does not matter to them. If PIA thinks by increasing fares to this level will make it profitable it is seriously mistaken. People will be forced to travel by other means and if possible use other airlines. Whatever stupid reaspmPIA has to increase its fares by 240% is inexusable. The objective should be to make money by having more passengers not reducing the number of passengers. No one flies by PIA because its management is filled with blithering idiots who make tall claims of being profitable when in realithy they are losing money on every route. There cheaper airlines for every route. Besides the military regime has turned PIA into its personal carrier. When the absolutely corrupt General Musharraf, the members of his regime and and all the hangers ons make a world tour, PIA has to fly them free everywhere at its own cost. There is no sense of shame an dishonour. PIA has to suffer because of the corrupt military regime. In any case, PIA should bring down its fares so it can attract more passengers otherwise PIA aircraft would be flying empty - because the fares are outrageously expensive.

Cell phone service blocking idiocy

Rehman Malik's idea blocking  cell phone services is going to ensure is madness.  In times of crisis all lines of communications shoul remain open. It is essential that everyone should be contact with everyone. If terrorists are using cell phones to remain in contact with one another, the police can trace calls, listen to what the terrorists are doing and planning and what they have done. This helps the police in catching them before they can.do any damage. In any case of crisis all lines of communication should remain open. People who need medical assistance can call them. If criminals are seen the police can be informed, so that they should be arrested. Even phones are as IEDs that number can traced if there are scanners around. Mysterious kidnappings

Young students in their twenties are being kidnapped from Karachi and other cities. Though reports about these are kept secret, but with the frequency they are taking place, there is bound to be a leak  and people eventually get to know about this. But the question is who responsible and why is it happening. There are no clear answers. But the people who get away by committing such crimes are obviously are very highly placed, they are virtually above the law.
