Black Magic: Superstition or fact?

My encounter with Black Magic and Black Magicians started some 30 years ago. I was very sceptical and condemned anyone who believe in it. 30  years ago two people I knew, my best friend and a brother-in-law were out of their luck. My best friend for one reason or another - try as he might failed in every business effort, was discussing with his wife about pigeons. They went on talking, I politely stayed quiet. When they had finished, I asked him about what he talking about. He told me it had to do black magic, he was consulting a black magician to turn his luck around. I was shocked that he actually believed in such things and expressed my disappointment. His response to my reaction was anger.
"I knew you would say these things, which is why I did not want to tell you" He tells me. We stopped talking for a few minutes and turned to talking about something else. I let him, he was actively following the black magicians instructions.
Around the same my brother-in-law lost his job. He was having a hard time finding another, Desperation led him and his wife too resort to find a Black Magician and did all the things the Black Magician told them to do. He got a job in another company.  At my office I was having  a friendly chat and told them about how my brother-in-law got his job back. A colleague seemed to know a bit more about this and was shocked. My colleague told me, all the good a Black Magicians appears to do backfires very badly the other is that makes the life of a person even more miserable and the long term effect is sudden and miserable death, because dark spirits are invoked. Since I did not know anything about this I had nothing to say.
As it followed, my brother-in-law was fired from his job, found another but lost it too,  after that no such luck. He survived on his savings then died of a heart attack. I too lost my job and struggled to find it. My friend was happy to oblige by introducing me to his Black Magician. He told me to do a number of things, which I found ridiculous, my wife did them in my place. a few months later found out the Black Magician was killed in a road accident.
A part time worker at my house suddenly became very ill and was hospitalised.  My wife went to the Black Magician my sister-in-law recommended to find out about this mysterious illness, if it was natural or was Black Magic involved. The Black Magician said it was the result of Black Magic and I was supposed to be the target. He even identified the people who were responsible, they were close family members. The worker told us later that he had found a plant all wrapped up with small pieces of paper strung up in a thread, he had unravelled it, a few days later he fell seriously ill.
These are few things I have experienced associated to Black Magic. Once one gets involved in one way another, one gets to hear anecdotes. Entire families going to the same Black Magician as their enemies. The Black Magician knows both, gives the magic potions and magical emulets, but they cancel each other out. I keep my distance,

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life ...

Boredom killer

The cellphone has become an integral part of Pakistani life, it is hard to imagine life without it anymore.  Every single person is using them, particularly people by those who have a great deal of free time and lots of people to talk to. Gossip gets around fairly fast. I was in a bus, there was this lady who had this phone stuck to her ear and she was asking virtually about everyone in her family and group of friends and telling them all kinds of stories. No sooner she was diconnected because she used up the credit, she added credit resumed her gossiping. All kinds of people, many who are doing fairly menial jobs are busy receiving and making calls. People love staying connected with anyone they know. There are others who have few friends and want to talk, I received one and that unknown person simply wanted to hear me talk about anything. He even went so far as to ask me to lie to him,  because there was really nothing to talk about. He simply wanted to hear a voice. Lonel...

Cell phone service blocking idiocy

Rehman Malik's idea blocking  cell phone services is going to ensure is madness.  In times of crisis all lines of communications shoul remain open. It is essential that everyone should be contact with everyone. If terrorists are using cell phones to remain in contact with one another, the police can trace calls, listen to what the terrorists are doing and planning and what they have done. This helps the police in catching them before they can.do any damage. In any case of crisis all lines of communication should remain open. People who need medical assistance can call them. If criminals are seen the police can be informed, so that they should be arrested. Even phones are as IEDs that number can traced if there are scanners around. Rehman Malik is nothing but a bloody absolutely corrupt piece of shit
