A double edged sword

The move to protect the environment is a double edged sword – there is a great deal of stress on health and hygiene but in the process wiping out many living things who benefit us.The aerial spraying of cities –for the purpose of hygiene would wipe out insects and flies indiscriminately, because these pesticides are not specific to particulars insects – it would also kill those insects which do not harm us in any way many of them benefit us. The result is that all the birds and bats might die of starvation in absence of insects or would have to go beyond city limits to have their meal. So the modern concept of hygiene and sanitation – may well doing more harm than good.
During fumigation, every single insect is exterminated indiscriminately, even the beautiful butterfly gets caught in the crossfire. What is worse the creature most women hate and fear for no reason at all - the lizard also gets killed. Lizards eat insects on a massive scale. If they are left alone, apart from devouring flies and mosquitoes, they can rid the house of cockroaches – but no one seems to care about extremely important fact. They would rather resort to fumigation which results in killing a very useful animal.
Every night I hear a sharp short squeaking sound - of a bat locating and whatever garbage they can find, wherever they see it, this is a very good thing, these creatures are ridding entire areas where all sorts of decomposing junk. Kites in particular can spot a dead rat from very high, they swoop down and snatch it away in not time at all.
The variety of birds we have in the city most of them eat insects, their sound which is like a wonderful symphony , when they get up early in the morning, it is pure joy – because they are all ‘off to work’ eating all kinds of insects in particular. Some birds help in increasing vegetation When the sunsets, they are huddling on branches and making a lot of chirping and trying huddle together in safety in between each other. Most of the times they are all trying to sit together on a single branch pushing and shoving, till they have finally squeezed in and settled down as soon it has become dark.
. Consider one particular bird its has in particular been badly affected by human activity – the vulture. The vulture is the most reviled creatures of all because it eats carcasses. What it is actually doing is cleaning up the place where there are remains of animals which if left alone would rot would make place unliveable because of the unbearable stench. Once the vulture has done its job, that body has vanished, stench goes away and the place has been cleaned up. In contrast human beings are a thousand times more efficient in making use of any dead animal in comparison to vultures. For people a dead animals is an industrial resource – human ingenuity have left nothing go to waste . Each everything of it is utilised , skin, bones and the entrails.
The skin is used for making shoes, the bones and hoof is being used for making glue and other things. There is no end to human ingenuity. The result is the poor vulture may well become extinct. In our attempt to keep the environment clean we are rendering certain animal extinct. The animals which nature has provided to clean up after us.. The lowly mouse and even the rat will eats up all the stuff it can find on the ground, particularly food which has spilled on the floor.
The cobwebs which are so ugly see but they really helpful as dust collectors, the seemingly invisible dust in the floating around in our homes is caught by them. So it is always useful to have lots of spiders in ones house gets trapped into it. Spiders efficiently capture flies and mosquitoes in their webs. When the spider abandons a web, or when it has died, the web serves as an excellent dust trap. It may look ugly, but consider this, it has captured all the unseen dust – this dust if is allowed to remain floating around would have harm us – particularly who are allergic to it.
When rats and mice are poisoned this results in a unending cycle of poisoning. These animals are consumed by others, which themselves also end up being hunted down, by some other creatures who also inadvertently consume that poison. All the animals begin to die or become extremely weak and turn into easy prey for other animals who also devour that poison and so on so forth. At this rate all animals will become extinct
So at times it is better not to be so fanatical about hygiene and sanitation . A large variety of animal depend on everything we throw out of our houses. If mosquitoes and flies bother us, one should feel secure that there are other creatures waiting to consume them.
Milk shops are portrayed as unhygienic, with flies hovering over open milk and yoghurt. What everyone fails to realise such places are ideal for lizards and spiders because there they can consume a large number of their prey – so the milk shop is not as dirty have been led to believe. spiders and lizards are natural pesticides, so the flies before than can prove to be a danger to us are eliminated by their own worst enemies, no spraying is required.

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life

Mysterious kidnappings

Young students in their twenties are being kidnapped from Karachi and other cities. Though reports about these are kept secret, but with the frequency they are taking place, there is bound to be a leak  and people eventually get to know about this. But the question is who responsible and why is it happening. There are no clear answers. But the people who get away by committing such crimes are obviously are very highly placed, they are virtually above the law. No one can arrest them, even though the evidence is overwhelmingly against them. This is a new way to terrorise the people, it simply boils down to this. If the police and other law enforcement organisations are unable to prevent crime, the people would be forced to take up arms against those who murder, kidnap and steal. Whatever the reasons for the kidnapping, is irrelevant, the people protecting the kidnappers will face the wrath of the people. No court, no judge is going to prosecute these criminals. There is a limit to su

Dr Salman Shah is insane

The price of petrol has been increased 7 times and the country's Finance Adviser says it will not affect the economy. I do not know about the economy but I am paying more and more for petrol and my salary has not increased, it is not enough one day petrol will eventually become as expensive as gold or more. Its people like Dr. Salman Shah who do not announce anything during the budget announcement, later start telling the people that everything is going to be more expensive later at the same time say it will not make any difference to the economy. Dr. Salman Shah says this because he does not have to pay for the petrol of his limousine - it is free for him Why should he not drive around in his limousine and pay for petrol from his own pocket instead on relying on the government. The day he starts doing that he will realise what he has done, he will scream. The price of petrol is high because it has 300 per cent taxes on it. If those taxes are removed the petrol would be m
