Old values have great power

The war in Afghanistan ended, in Afghanistan there were no generals no regular army and yet they won. In the West there is utter disdain for the old and the elderly and there is belief that youth have the answers for everything. The greatest strength were those who were older than them. In age there is experience and knowledge. Respecting above all else is there is a fundamental reason why they win. Great empires have crumbled in Afghanistan. The youth believe they have all the answers, a society which trusts that, is doomed. The old are wiser and will remain so. They know what has happened before and how it was dealt. The complete disrespect of the old the elderly is a crime. Calling them by their first name is equally so.

Change with changing times

In 1950s right up to the early 1980s,  immigrants from the India and Pakistan wore the attire of their towns and villages. Men were required to trousers and shirts.  But changes started quickly after the 1980s, women doffed their traditional attire and started getting assimilated in the society they were living in. They stopped wearing the impractical clothes and relaxed.  Now the newer generation is wearing whatever is in fashion in those countries. Much of the older generations have died and along with them what they valued, what shocked them senseless. Those women wear skirts and shorts and encourage them to wear their daughters to wear the skimpiest dresses which were in fashion. The Achut caste thrived abroad, because they were treated like human beings.  Their going abroad and settling there gave them opportunities they could only dream of in India.
