Presidential election in the United States of America - should I care?

I have no idea what all the issues are, concerning the people living in a country located thousands of miles away which is locked between two oceans the Atlantic and the Pacific. However when one sees the candidates speak about things, which can be very surprising.
For instance no public figure leave alone politicians would over dare, openly discuss whether gay marriages should be allowed or not, Because if anyone were to admit being gay , because of existing laws he would be confessing to a crime and will end up being thrown in jail; so the question of allowing gay marriages can never arise.
With respect to the prevalence AIDS - no one knows how many people do suffer from this disease here and how many so far have died because of it, so far. The official policy is absolute denial and camouflage. Taking advantage of the ignorance of the people, doctors can attribute the cause of a patient's death to any number of diseases and no one would be any wiser. A doctor could know that a patient has AIDS, but will not admit that he does. The fear is that to give figures about the details how many people are suffering from AIDS and how many have died from it, would begin to give the world 'the wrong message' that Pakistanis are not as prudish as they are made out to be and not fanatically 'Islamic' as they it claimed to be. Such information would also require to allocate funds on AIDS prevention and cure But due to official denial. money is available other more seemingly more important things.
The only concern about the outcome of this election is that how many more countries will be attacked and conquered. Since the United States of America is a democracy and not a dictatorship i.e. has an elected representative as president, his actions are directly the result of the people who voted and entrusted him. The people cannot have it both ways - saying that their leader misled them and forced them to start wars and at the same time claim to be a democratic.
Only dictators can afford to mislead the people and get away with it, They can send their soldiers to fight wars on false pretexts, because it serves the dictator's personal interests, it does not benefit anyone else except him and the members of his family, the greater national interest is the least of his concerns. But elected individuals are constantly being observed and always held accountable for their actions and can be challenged at any time. Their actions are directly in response to what the people expect from them decisions are respected and supported. So whatever action a public representatives takes if in long term eventually does more harm than good - then an elected person behaves irresponsibly it reflects on the kind of people who elected him.
As regards domestic issues the people of United States of America have - no one over here can even begin to understand, because those are issues which no one can identify with.
Finally the most commonly asked question here and nearly every other county of the world, is how is it that the United States of America, has only two candidates - contesting for the post president, why not ten or twenty, with just as many political parties backing them?

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life

Mysterious kidnappings

Young students in their twenties are being kidnapped from Karachi and other cities. Though reports about these are kept secret, but with the frequency they are taking place, there is bound to be a leak  and people eventually get to know about this. But the question is who responsible and why is it happening. There are no clear answers. But the people who get away by committing such crimes are obviously are very highly placed, they are virtually above the law. No one can arrest them, even though the evidence is overwhelmingly against them. This is a new way to terrorise the people, it simply boils down to this. If the police and other law enforcement organisations are unable to prevent crime, the people would be forced to take up arms against those who murder, kidnap and steal. Whatever the reasons for the kidnapping, is irrelevant, the people protecting the kidnappers will face the wrath of the people. No court, no judge is going to prosecute these criminals. There is a limit to su

Dr Salman Shah is insane

The price of petrol has been increased 7 times and the country's Finance Adviser says it will not affect the economy. I do not know about the economy but I am paying more and more for petrol and my salary has not increased, it is not enough one day petrol will eventually become as expensive as gold or more. Its people like Dr. Salman Shah who do not announce anything during the budget announcement, later start telling the people that everything is going to be more expensive later at the same time say it will not make any difference to the economy. Dr. Salman Shah says this because he does not have to pay for the petrol of his limousine - it is free for him Why should he not drive around in his limousine and pay for petrol from his own pocket instead on relying on the government. The day he starts doing that he will realise what he has done, he will scream. The price of petrol is high because it has 300 per cent taxes on it. If those taxes are removed the petrol would be m
