The curse of war

It was assumed that humanity would eventually become much more peaceful and kinder - but the opposite is more than apparent. There are civil wars, secret wars (covert operations) there all out invasions and attempts of occupation (the reasons for them are irrelevant, those have been discussed to deathby almost everyone). There is no doubt that human beings are so violent and dangerous that not only does every country in the world have soldiers but also a police force. Although the pace of development in science and technology of humanity is formidable, but human nature has not changed in any way.
The 20th Century was full of wars, the killing, the maiming and torture went on and continues to this day. Some wars are reported intensely others are not given equal attention. The idea behind international sports events was to take people off the battlefield and bring them on the sports ground. International sports has done nothing at all – there are no easy solutions and perhaps there never ever will be.
The weapons industry is huge – this industry seeks buyers – war has been said to be good for business. Not all components of the weapons are made by a single manufacturer. Several companies make specific parts, which are sold to the main manufacturer who has them assembled.
Before fully automated manufacturing existed, the weapons industry employed a great deal of people now not that many people need to be hired. Everyone who needs weapons buys them – ranging from leaders of countries for their armed forces to people labelled as guerrillas (or rebels). To justify the acquisition of weapons either an enemy already exists, if there is none then one has to be invented. A threat either exists or it is presumed to exist.
There are two types of countries in the world. The first are those which manufacture weapons the second are those which do not, instead rely on those which make them. But a problem arises when countries which once did not have their weapons manufacturing industry do so. This goes against the interests of those countries which are economical dependent on the export of weapons. A country starting out to make weapons for its own use – is a threat including weapons that no longer needs import anymore for decades to come.
Weapon manufacturing countries make two types of weapons those which they use for their own defence which many times more devastating and harmful than the ones which they export – these are actually downgraded versions of the original ones. So the countries which purchase such weapons are actually purchasing shoddy overpriced items. Everyone knows this, which is why there is the a weapons black-market, from where all kinds of weapons can be purchased – by not only the armies of countries but also by guerrillas. The weapons black-market will never disappear as long as there is a massive demand for weapons, particularly those which are many times deadlier than ones which are otherwise available.
The most important factor which keeps the arms industry alive is that of ‘presumed danger’. The purchase of weapons is not simply for the purpose of actual combat – but to buy them so that the leaders get large bribe they receive for sanctioning the purchase of weapons.
There is no escape from war – for any reason. A war is wonderful if one is not directly affected by it. It is terrible if one is. If people are fighting is some part of the world resorting to wholesale killing and destruction it does not matter – such news is like some massive earthquake occurring some part of world one has never heard of. – the response is shrug ones shoulders and get on with ones life.
Apathy perhaps more than anything else will be the cause for more wars. More people will get killed and no one will ever care. As long as a war directly does not affect ones own life it is of no consequence for this reason the atrocity whch is war will go on.

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life

Mysterious kidnappings

Young students in their twenties are being kidnapped from Karachi and other cities. Though reports about these are kept secret, but with the frequency they are taking place, there is bound to be a leak  and people eventually get to know about this. But the question is who responsible and why is it happening. There are no clear answers. But the people who get away by committing such crimes are obviously are very highly placed, they are virtually above the law. No one can arrest them, even though the evidence is overwhelmingly against them. This is a new way to terrorise the people, it simply boils down to this. If the police and other law enforcement organisations are unable to prevent crime, the people would be forced to take up arms against those who murder, kidnap and steal. Whatever the reasons for the kidnapping, is irrelevant, the people protecting the kidnappers will face the wrath of the people. No court, no judge is going to prosecute these criminals. There is a limit to su

Dr Salman Shah is insane

The price of petrol has been increased 7 times and the country's Finance Adviser says it will not affect the economy. I do not know about the economy but I am paying more and more for petrol and my salary has not increased, it is not enough one day petrol will eventually become as expensive as gold or more. Its people like Dr. Salman Shah who do not announce anything during the budget announcement, later start telling the people that everything is going to be more expensive later at the same time say it will not make any difference to the economy. Dr. Salman Shah says this because he does not have to pay for the petrol of his limousine - it is free for him Why should he not drive around in his limousine and pay for petrol from his own pocket instead on relying on the government. The day he starts doing that he will realise what he has done, he will scream. The price of petrol is high because it has 300 per cent taxes on it. If those taxes are removed the petrol would be m
