Pleasure trips of General Musharraf

General Musharraf our present dictator – (in the tradition of all preceding dictators), after having ensured that they he has consolidated his hold over the country; with the help of his traitorous cronies – he is now regularly on a world tour with an entire aircraft exclusively meant for his use and is packed with an entourage (read toadies and hangers-on) they are on ‘official trips’.
The taxpayers are bearing the cost of these extremely expensive pleasure trips. As long as the general feels his job is secure, he will keep on doing this and much worse. The same money could be very well spent on so many other things, which the country desperately needs. But the money is being spent by the general and his entourage to stay in the best places and go on shopping sprees and do sightseeing. None of these trips benefit the country in any way - although the impression is given that they do.
The public relations officer assigned to the entourage sends the news that the general had ‘important talks’ with the leaders of the countries he has visited. Which is an absolute pack of lies– the general is not visiting countries to meet world leaders, his reasons for going abroad is to do shopping and sight seeing.
Whenever he has actually met any world leaders, he was snubbed and insulted, but that never fazed him because he is an absolute shameless individual, like all those individuals are responsible for his maintaining his hold on to power, they are nothing but common thugs and over above all they are traitors.
A criminal like General Musharraf does not care what anyone says, the problems of Pakistan do not concern him. He has handed over the responsibility of running to a bunch of selected civilians all of who is absolutely and abjectly loyal to him.
The saying ‘Nero Fiddled While Rome Burnt’ fits perfectly with this General Musharraf (this also applies to the entire dictator who came before him). He is wining and dining, having photographs taken in scenic places – theise family’s photographs are being published in newspapers. He is smiling because he does not have to pay for anything from his own pocket for anything during his world tour and the shopping being done by him and particularly by his wife, as well as the shopping done by the members of his entourage. When there is such extreme corruption at such high level, there should be no reason to be concerned about the level of corruption in the country, as it is completely unrepresentative leadership, it makes ridiculous rules and laws. The people do not care about them and do exactly as they please.
How strange it is that wedding parties are not allowed because they are considered a waste of money, but General Musharraf’s extremely expensive world tours are never considered an absolutely waste of money. Imagine a restriction imposed on General Musharraf on going abroad because the country cannot afford it?
One wonders how long will the military will it keep following the orders of a traitorous regime?

The blessed and the cursed

The only way to get a really grand job is to be in the right place at the right time. Hardwork, talent, ability and intelligence means nothing. All that you learnt at you university or college is worthless. Consider a man working his butt off for years in a company, suddenly finds out the companies boss has been jailed for not paying taxes. The company winds up and the hardworking man ends on the street. He put in his life in the company – now his pension has gone and he is an old man with no chance getting another job. Lots of people try to be become movie stars end up they are too ugly, their voice is terrible and they just simply stupid – it is all matter of being bad luck. Others regardless of how they look get great part in some movie and end up acting in a film which makes lots of money. A good luck also accounts for the fact that some people can get away with mass murder and never be held accountable for their crimes and some one get just kill one person and be jailed for life ...

Dr Salman Shah is insane

The price of petrol has been increased 7 times and the country's Finance Adviser says it will not affect the economy. I do not know about the economy but I am paying more and more for petrol and my salary has not increased, it is not enough one day petrol will eventually become as expensive as gold or more. Its people like Dr. Salman Shah who do not announce anything during the budget announcement, later start telling the people that everything is going to be more expensive later at the same time say it will not make any difference to the economy. Dr. Salman Shah says this because he does not have to pay for the petrol of his limousine - it is free for him Why should he not drive around in his limousine and pay for petrol from his own pocket instead on relying on the government. The day he starts doing that he will realise what he has done, he will scream. The price of petrol is high because it has 300 per cent taxes on it. If those taxes are removed the petrol would be m...

Mysterious kidnappings

Young students in their twenties are being kidnapped from Karachi and other cities. Though reports about these are kept secret, but with the frequency they are taking place, there is bound to be a leak  and people eventually get to know about this. But the question is who responsible and why is it happening. There are no clear answers. But the people who get away by committing such crimes are obviously are very highly placed, they are virtually above the law. No one can arrest them, even though the evidence is overwhelmingly against them. This is a new way to terrorise the people, it simply boils down to this. If the police and other law enforcement organisations are unable to prevent crime, the people would be forced to take up arms against those who murder, kidnap and steal. Whatever the reasons for the kidnapping, is irrelevant, the people protecting the kidnappers will face the wrath of the people. No court, no judge is going to prosecute these criminals. There is a limit t...
