The present government is again increasing the price of oil products and of gas. It seems that the government does not have any source of income other than this. Why should this be the case? There are so many sources of income, but the government does not want to impose taxes on them or is not allowed to.
Why impose income tax on the feudal lords (Zamindars, Waderas), impose land tax on them also. Impose income tax on the owners of brick kiln owners? The government does not want to touch those people because they are the people who run the government. Impose income tax tribal chiefs.
This government all others before it impose tax on oil, gas and imported vehicles nothing else. There is complete of understanding. There are so many sectors where taxes can be imposed. One of the primary reason why tax is increased, is not because the government has run out of money, it is increased because all the greedy pigs in Islamabad take all that money away, so there is no money left for the government to spend on anything at all. Every government has massive corruption.
Everything has been made so complicated that the only way through every process is to bribe. No department can be trusted to do anything without charging anything.
The bribing starts from clerk every department goes to every officer and eventually to the head of the department whose job is only to sign. These corrupt people are everywhere.
Laws have been created to make sure that every receives a bribe. Hence the increase in the price of oil and gas.
When the government is so fucking irresponsible and unreliable it is bound to make the life ordinary people miserable. Protesting makes no difference because they have no shame no sense of honour and dignity. These people are the scum of the earth. They would gladly wear that on their coats as a matter of pride.
When a country is run by murderers, torturers and thieves, nothing good can expected from it. The only thing which bothers these people is ridicule. In Facebook Asi Ali Zardari was being ridiculed. He has become public punching bag. Someone made 'pin the donkey' game in which zardari was the donkey. A forum was made to poke fun of him. Zardari had already banned local mobile phone companies to block SMS' which had made fun of him. He ordered the closure of Facebook because Pakistanis all over the world were making fun of him. He found a way to ban Facebook by making his people dig into Facebook to look for anything which was against the religion Islam. His cronies started protesting and it was televised and thus Facebook was banned. YouTube was banned because people had taken photographs and films of people who killing people in Karachi. YouTube's banning also had nothing to do with religion.
This criminal government has to go at all costs.
